My name is Brian Sims. I am 35 years old and live in Louisville, Ky. I have been sailing since I was a child. My father always had boats and taught me to "man the helm" early on. In my late 20's I came back to sailing in the local sailing club.
Racing with many different crews and on different boats I found my love for the sport again. Soon after, I was exposed to RC Sailing. I bought my first boat and started off sailing with a friend of mine. Soon, parts broke, sails blew out and I started remaking things to be better.
I learned how to make sails through trial and error and eventually started offering sails to my local RC sailing club members. Once I found that I had a knack for it, I made my first web page and started selling sails online to people all over the world. Vision Sails was born! Five years later, many successes and failures...here we are.
Vision Sails is my passion and love, I have always loved sailing and this scaled down version is no less exciting!
